Custom Technics 1200 mk2’s: V.I.P. Edition

Here is what my Technics looked like before:

Red LED's

Work done: Original Paint stripped, gearing/motor/tone arm tuned, flat black faceplate and “Ciroc Red Berry” platter.  Shoutout to the hommie “DJ Philthy Phil” for doing the work.  These things are truly one of a kind, thus they must be crowned the “V.I.P. Editions“.

Mixtape Monday: Nipsey Hussle – “The Marathon”

This weeks MIXTAPE MONDAY feature’s Nipsey Hussle (@nipseyhussle)… This mixtape is not new, but it still contains great music!  Talking about his stuggle growing up in the steets of Slauson.  He truly is Hussle, this mixtape is some good ‘grind-time’ music to get you ready to start you day.  I have DJ’ed a show for NIP at The Dragonfly in Hollywood & on March, 19th I have a show in Ventura at Karma Lounge with him again.  Checkout the mixtape:

Thee SiCCKKEST Watch

FLuD Turntable Watch

This may be the sicckest watch I have ever seen!

While I was DJ’ing in Ventura at Karma Lounge with the hommie DJ Cue I noticed he was cuttin’ it up with that appeared to be a turntable on his wrist.  He took it off to show me and told me it was a watch.  I instantly turned it over to look up the maker of it so I could look into getting one!

They run about 79.99+ (depending on what color you get) but I think the nicest one is the black one to the left.

Whether your a DJ, music head, or into watches…This is a GREAT add to any collection.  Shoutout to DJ CUE!

2 Events Tonight!

Comedy Show in Studio City

Happy Thursday to EVERYONE…Tonight I will be spinin’ at 2 events!  it’s been a hectic week this far; Nitrane and myself are still working on the mixtape, not to mention today starts my 4 day journey with 6 events 🙂  Here are my plans for Thursday February 10th:

I am starting my night off at T’Shaun Barrett’s “Aaaah-Sh!t Comedy Show” in Studio City (12215 Ventura Blvd).  Come out and enjoy some FREE ENTRAINMENT, it is strictly for the 21+ so be ready for a few drinks & lots of laughs!  Here is the flyer for the event——>

My second and final stop of the night will be at KRESS!  Kress features 3 levels (Basement, Main Room & Rooftop) which make it one of the BEST VENUE’s in Hollywood!  This event is brought to you by A*List Ent.


Tonight’s event at KRESS just happens to be the J.Cole & Big Sean Concert afterparty!  Say “DJ V.I.P.” at the door for my guestlist and you get in at half price…don’t forget to say that or you will be paying too much $$$
