Custom Technics 1200 mk2’s: V.I.P. Edition

Here is what my Technics looked like before:

Work done: Original Paint stripped, gearing/motor/tone arm tuned, flat black faceplate and “Ciroc Red Berry” platter.  Shoutout to the hommie “DJ Philthy Phil” for doing the work.  These things are truly one of a kind, thus they must be crowned the “V.I.P. Editions“.

Mixtape Monday: Nipsey Hussle – “The Marathon”

This weeks MIXTAPE MONDAY feature’s Nipsey Hussle (@nipseyhussle)… This mixtape is not new, but it still contains great music!  Talking about his stuggle growing up in the steets of Slauson.  He truly is Hussle, this mixtape is some good ‘grind-time’ music to get you ready to start you day.  I have DJ’ed a show for NIP at The Dragonfly in Hollywood & on March, 19th I have a show in Ventura at Karma Lounge with him again.  Checkout the mixtape:

This Sunday I will be holdin’ it down with my boys from Push Ent. at BYBLOS in Westwood for Presidential-Ish 2!

What’s Up Wednesday

You asked what’s up, in the works or to-come this week?  Well here ya go….

This week is a “low” week as far as events go for me…That means I am going in on some mixes and mixtapes for everyone. I like to stay busy otherwise I lose my mind.  Therefore, I am up to any suggestions for mixes or new content to add to the site!

My single event of the week is at Club 11 (Eleven) right off Santa Monica Blvd in West Hollywood.  This place has some sicck sound / lightening with cheap drinks and L.A.’s hottest promotions crew, A*List aka The DREAM THURSADAY’s Crew.  Checkout this picture @morganashly143 took of me last time i spun at Eleven.

Thee SiCCKKEST Watch

FLuD Turntable Watch

This may be the sicckest watch I have ever seen!

While I was DJ’ing in Ventura at Karma Lounge with the hommie DJ Cue I noticed he was cuttin’ it up with that appeared to be a turntable on his wrist.  He took it off to show me and told me it was a watch.  I instantly turned it over to look up the maker of it so I could look into getting one!

They run about 79.99+ (depending on what color you get) but I think the nicest one is the black one to the left.

Whether your a DJ, music head, or into watches…This is a GREAT add to any collection.  Shoutout to DJ CUE!

Recap on Last Night & Tonight’s Events

What’s going on everyone?!?  Last night I kicked the night off at the Aaaah Sh!t Comedy Show at Spotlight Comedy Club in Studio City.  By midnight I made my way to Kress in Hollywood where we had a full house…Now onto Friday’s events (click the flyer to enlarge):

CSUN "White Hot Party"

Tonight I am starting off the night at the World Famous Arena!  Arena features 3 huge rooms with amazing sound/lighting.  It just so happens to also be one of the largest clubs in Hollywood.  The event is called “White Hot” featuring CUPID himself 🙂 The “White Hot Party” event is put together by Cash Rulez Ent…

I will be spinin’ from 9:30-10:45, then heading over to my 2nd event of the night!
